Brielle's Princess Party

We celebrated Brielle's birthday with a princess party the weekend after Labor Day. She had her cousins and friends there to help. This was the first year that she invited "school" friends and it was a lot of fun for her. We had a bounce house with a water slide, but since it was a little on the chilly side that weekend we decided to just use the slide with no water. The party was a success and Brielle got lots of neat gifts. Thanks to all that helped make her 5th birthday so much fun!!

Her "Belle" cake
The sweets table. There was cake, cupcakes, strawberry cake pops and princess suckers. The girls all got tiaras and wands and the boys got crowns and scepters.
 Bounce house/slide combo....
the kids had a blast on this thing!
Brielle, Mara, and Samantha. These are her 2 good friends from school
Gift opening was a bit hectic with that many little hands :)
She got a really neat Belle doll from Mara
 Giving friends thank you hugs

 Happy Birthday Brielle Leigh!!

First Day of School 2012

The kids started school on September 6. Brielle is going 3 days a week for her last year of preschool before Kindergarten and Bryce is going 2 days for his first year. They are both adjusting well to the new routine of having to get up and out the door in the morning.
Brielle's first day was "red" day and this is all the red she has at the moment so she got to re-wear her 4th of July outfit one more time!!
Bryce sure seemed excited to go, but he didn't have quite that big of a smile when I went to drop him off at his classroom
All ready for a new school year!

Labor Day Weekend at the Lake

Kimra and Tim invited all of us up to their lake house on Labor Day weekend. Their place is gorgeous and we all had so much fun. The kids loved playing in the lake and taking boat rides.
They put sand in to make a little "beach" and it allows the kids to touch
Brycey getting ready to jump in
 All the kids, execpt Nicolas
The big boys, man they are growing up
Their boat is very nice and it managed to hold all 19 of us

Thanks Leman Family for having us!!!

Happy 5th Birthday Brielle

On Brielle's actual 5th birthday, August 30, we spent the morning at the Children's Museum. The kids absolutely love it there. We have a membership so I'm hoping to get some good use out of it come winter time.
Riding the carousel
The little tree house is always a hit
They are currently re-doing the children's play scape area where they can play in sand and water. It is suppose to be done sometime next year and I'm sure it's going to be amazing. They had a new little area to resemble it until it is done. The kids had fun with the little chalkboards and erasers.
Digging for fossils in the Dino sphere is always a must
 Our 5 year old princess
She got a special balloon delivery from MawMaw and Papa Tim :)
Opening a couple gifts from Mommy and Daddy
Now she can really be Doc McStuffins
She got the "cute little dog" that she wanted. (Every dog is cute to her!)
 Happy Birthday to you

Happy 5th Birthday princess! We love you sooooo much!!

Pre- Birthday Celebration

We did a little pre-birthday celebrating by taking the kids to Chuck E Cheese the night before Brielle's birthday (8-29-12 since I'm so behind in posting!). The kids had a blast. They ate pizza and got to play as many games as they wanted. There weren't a ton that they could really get the hang of so they seemed to play the same ones over and over. Of course they want to go back :)
Climbing in the tunnel

 Posing with Chuck E
Bryce was too busy watching the big mouse singing on stage to look at me!
The kids were almost too big for this dinky little carousel
 Driving a race car
We didn't win enough tickets to amount to much at the prize counter, but Daddy loves his little girl so much that he bought her a Chuck E Mouse (and Bryce got one too :))
