Halloween 2012

This year the kids dressed up as Jessie and Woody from Toy Story. We went to Fort Wayne so they could go trick or treating with Camden and Cohen. The kids had fun despite the cold and rainy weather.

BIG Boy!!!

Bryce continues to be our little character and his little personality is showing more and more. He makes us laugh all the time and he literally talks all day long. He loves his sissy so much and they get along so well. We have been working on potty training for a few months now with a lot of starting and stopping due to him not being ready. Well, this past weekend he decided he was ready and has been in underwear since. We are so proud of him!!!  I ran across some funny pictures of him that I wanted to share.
Wearing sissy's hat....he is even cute in pink!!
Man I love this boy so much

Sissy in her hat at about the same age...2.5 years
 Seriously into his show, but
 always ready with a smile

Painting & Play-doh

My kids love to do crafts. They have so much fun painting, coloring, cutting, gluing and so on!
Concentrating hard on their painting
His "cheese" faces crack me up

Play-doh is another big hit in our house

In between all the fun things there is always time for cousin snuggling!
 Love these 4 so much!!!

Stuckey's Farm

A couple weeks ago Brielle had her fall field trip to Stuckey's Farm. Bryce was suppose to be in school, but had a really bad cold so he got to go along too!
Ready to go!
Here her class is learning all about corn,
and here they are learning about how apple cider is made,
and here they learned all about honey and where it comes from.
 My little pumpkin
Next the class went out to the orchard and got to taste a couple different types of apples and they got to sample apple cider. Brielle was not a fan! After this they got to go on a hay ride
Brielle's class. There are 18 total, 13 boys and 5 girls

Brielle's Princess Party

We celebrated Brielle's birthday with a princess party the weekend after Labor Day. She had her cousins and friends there to help. This was the first year that she invited "school" friends and it was a lot of fun for her. We had a bounce house with a water slide, but since it was a little on the chilly side that weekend we decided to just use the slide with no water. The party was a success and Brielle got lots of neat gifts. Thanks to all that helped make her 5th birthday so much fun!!

Her "Belle" cake
The sweets table. There was cake, cupcakes, strawberry cake pops and princess suckers. The girls all got tiaras and wands and the boys got crowns and scepters.
 Bounce house/slide combo....
the kids had a blast on this thing!
Brielle, Mara, and Samantha. These are her 2 good friends from school
Gift opening was a bit hectic with that many little hands :)
She got a really neat Belle doll from Mara
 Giving friends thank you hugs

 Happy Birthday Brielle Leigh!!

First Day of School 2012

The kids started school on September 6. Brielle is going 3 days a week for her last year of preschool before Kindergarten and Bryce is going 2 days for his first year. They are both adjusting well to the new routine of having to get up and out the door in the morning.
Brielle's first day was "red" day and this is all the red she has at the moment so she got to re-wear her 4th of July outfit one more time!!
Bryce sure seemed excited to go, but he didn't have quite that big of a smile when I went to drop him off at his classroom
All ready for a new school year!

Labor Day Weekend at the Lake

Kimra and Tim invited all of us up to their lake house on Labor Day weekend. Their place is gorgeous and we all had so much fun. The kids loved playing in the lake and taking boat rides.
They put sand in to make a little "beach" and it allows the kids to touch
